Nadia Simoes

Executive Director - Iraq

EDUCATION. Bachelor of Arts in Political Science at the University of Lausanne, Switzerland, and Master of Arts in International Relations focusing on Peace and Conflicts Studies at the Free University of Brussels, Belgium.

WORK HISTORY. Nadia was an active member of Amnesty International while studying. After graduating, Nadia worked in the political department at the Embassy of Switzerland to Turkey. Later, she worked as a fundraiser for the Belgium Red Cross and as a social worker in a welcome center for migrants in Geneva. Nadia worked for Terre des hommes Foundation supporting the Communication and Fundraising department, until she joined Mercy Hands for Humanitarian Aid in February 2017.
